There are so many factors to consider when selecting the school that will change your life by leading your way to a fun, fulfilling and lucrative career. It’s one of the most important decisions you will make as you graduate from high school, or change careers later in life.

At TSPA, we think learning should be fun and rewarding. Sure,  you will have to spend time in the classroom before you get to work on real people, but that can be fun too. Our educators know what it’s like to be a student, so they also know how to make learning fun. From your first day in the classroom, through your first practice on a mannequin, to your debut working on guests in the salon or spa, our educators will personally guide you.

We’ll teach you to be confident, competent and creative.

Technical skills are very important to us, but they are only the beginning of your education here at TSPA. You will gain important business skills, marketing skills, and customer service skills that will give you a major advantage when you start your dream career.

TSPA Culture is Inclusive and Supportive with a Dedication to the Success and Well-being of All of our Students.

You will notice a very friendly and professional atmosphere every time you enter our academy. We are all family here. Everyone is welcome. Lifelong friendships are developed, not only between students, but also between students and staff. We truly care about  what our students are up to after they graduate.

Where do you go from here?

We have very close relationships with the region’s premier salons and spas, and we meet with them annually to review our programs and find out first hand how our students are performing after they graduate. We also gather the region’s top salons and spas for career fairs in the spring and fall so they can meet our highly sought after students, and our students can meet with them to decide where they want to begin their amazing careers. Many of the salons and spas are represented by TSPA alumni at these events, which gives us a chance to catch up with them!

This Is TSPA – Growing Salon & Spa Leaders, One Student at a Time

Beauty Career Possibilities are Endless

In the beginning, there was Sharpie brows.

My love for the beauty industry started long before I even considered going to “hair school”. All of my barbies had the BEST haircuts (or so I thought at the time) and my dolls were always sporting the trendiest makeup. The looks were usually achieved using unconventional tools. Blush was colored on perfectly using lipstick, brows with black sharpie and nail polish graced their lips and lids (talk about long lasting color). My mom didn’t appreciate that I’d used her beauty products to create the perfect look for my dolls, but she always shared my enthusiasm of how beautiful they turned out. Thanks for always being a good sport mom =)

As I got older, I not only realized that I loved makeup, hair and everything beauty, I loved people, too. Helping people look and feel beautiful inside and out became my passion.
The neat thing about Hairstyling is that it’s not just cutting hair. There are endless opportunities when it comes to beauty professions – your hairstyling license can open so many doors if you dare to dream big!
So what else can you do besides “just cutting hair”?
1. Hairstyling Educator/Instructor
2. Salon Owner or Manager
3. Salon Consultant / Brand Consultant
4. Professional Film & Theater Stylist/Makeup Artist
5. Celebrity Stylist (the Kardashians don’t get all beautified on their own)
6. Platform Artists
7. Editorial/ Advertising Stylist
8. Fashion Show Stylist
Being in the beauty industry for 10+ years has taught me that there are no limits to what you can become. If you can dream it, you can do it.
